04 — PROCESS AUTOMATION × WORKFLOW ORCHESTRATION

Apply Flow

An autonomous multi-agent career operations system that automates job discovery, preflight candidate qualification, ATS-tailored documents, and browser application execution.

THE BUSINESS PROBLEM

Job application workflows are repetitive, exhausting, and inefficient: searching dozens of disparate job boards, parsing eligibility, tailoring resumes, and filling identical portals.

Candidates lose hours to clerical friction or apply to outdated postings, while missing high-fit opportunities that match their exact profile.

Traditional scrapers often break on complex applicant tracking systems (Workday, Greenhouse, Lever, Taleo).

THE IDEA

Apply Flow treats job searching as an orchestrated, automated supply-chain pipeline.

It continuously scans career portals, runs strict preflight qualification checks, generates tailored truthful application packages, and automates submission via real browser automation.

THE BUSINESS & PROCESS ANALYSIS

I deconstructed the application process into: Target Portal Discovery → Health & Liveness Audit → Preflight Eligibility Check → Truthful Material Tailoring → Application Execution → Pipeline Tracking.

Identified the critical bottleneck: manual portal health validation and repetitive form filling across incompatible ATS platforms.

THE REQUIREMENTS & IMPLEMENTATION

Engineered an automated system featuring real-browser orchestration (browser-apply.mjs), automated ATS discovery across 100+ company portals, portal health verification, strict preflight eligibility filters (experience, location, recency), and markdown pipeline sync.

Incorporated truthfulness guardrails ensuring tailored application materials never hallucinate metrics or skills.

THE RESULT / CURRENT STATUS

Transformed hours of manual job application tasks into a repeatable, automated operational workflow.

Maintained active monitoring over application funnels, response latencies, and interview progression.

WHAT I LEARNED

True automation requires robust boundary checks and failure recovery, not just blind scripts.

Adding preflight qualification rules saved more time than speed alone by eliminating low-probability applications up front.
