Reddyt
A social intelligence platform designed to extract, analyze, and uncover actionable customer insights, purchase intent, and competitor sentiment from Reddit discussions.
THE BUSINESS PROBLEM
Public communities contain unfiltered customer feedback, pain points, and purchase intent, but the data is unorganized and noisy.
Businesses spend hundreds of manual hours searching forums or miss real-time buying signals and competitor complaints.
Traditional keyword alerts flag mentions without understanding user sentiment, urgency, or context.
THE IDEA
Reddyt transforms chaotic public Reddit discussions into structured customer and competitive intelligence.
It automatically captures high-intent purchase queries, maps user pain points, tracks brand sentiment, and alerts teams via Slack/Discord webhooks.
THE BUSINESS & PROCESS ANALYSIS
I mapped the intelligence pipeline: Ingestion (API & Stealth Scrapers) → AI Classification & Intent Scoring → Signal Aggregation → Actionable Alerts.
The biggest opportunity was distinguishing between casual banter and commercial purchase intent, allowing teams to act on warm leads immediately.
THE REQUIREMENTS & IMPLEMENTATION
Core requirements included multi-source ingestion (Reddit Public JSON API, PullPush historical archive, Scrapling stealth scraper), multi-model LLM sentiment and intent scoring (Gemini, Claude, OpenAI), competitor mentions radar, and webhook triggers.
The architecture was structured with Next.js 15, Server Components, Drizzle ORM, and Python social connectors.
THE RESULT / CURRENT STATUS
Reddyt became a working intelligence engine capable of extracting high-intent leads, tracking brand sentiment distribution, and generating executive reports.
Demonstrated how unstructured conversational data can be transformed into high-signal market intelligence for product and marketing decisions.
WHAT I LEARNED
The value of AI is not in scraping more posts, but in reducing noise.
Accurate intent detection and structured categorization turn endless forum comments into prioritized business actions.
